Paradise Island Welcomes World's Best Amateur Golfers for White Sands Bahamas Men's Invitational

Paradise Island, The Bahamas, October 14, 2025 - Building on The Bahamas’ rich legacy of hosting premier golf events, the White Sands Bahamas Men's Invitational is set to take place this December and it will mark the start of an exciting new chapter for the sport in paradise.

The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism today announced that 72 of the world’s top amateur golfers will tee it up at the White Sands Bahamas Men’s Invitational, December 13–16, 2025, at the iconic Ocean Club Golf Course at Atlantis Paradise Island.

For decades, The Bahamas has welcomed the game’s greatest players and events, from PGA TOUR stars to LPGA and celebrity championships, cementing its place as one of golf’s most spectacular backdrops. The White Sands Bahamas Men’s Invitational continues that tradition, bringing together the next generation of champions in what is set to become a signature event on the global amateur golf calendar.

Among the early commitments are U.S. Junior Ryder Cup standouts Miles Russell and Luke Colton, 2025 European Amateur Champion Filip Jakubcik, 2025 Walker Cup member Tommy Morrison, All-American Connor Williams, U.S. Junior National Team member Kihei Akina, and 2025 Southern Amateur winner John Daly II, with additional top players expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

PGA TOUR Pathway

The champion will earn a coveted sponsor exemption into a full-field PGA TOUR event, either the 2026 Puerto Rico Open (March 5–8, 2026) or the 2026 ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic (May 4-10,2026). The runner-up will receive an exemption into the 2026 LECOM Suncoast Classic on the Korn Ferry Tour. All participants will also be awarded World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) points.

“We are thrilled to welcome some of the most talented golfers in the world to the White Sands Bahamas Men’s Invitational. Our goal is not only to create a first-class competition, but to deliver an unforgettable experience that combines championship golf with the world-class hospitality and beauty of The Bahamas.”
