From Stade de France to Murrayfield, SPORTFIVE supported its clients throughout the 2026 Six Nations Championship, from the opening match until the final game set to take place at Stade de France.

From the opening match to the final game at Stade de France, SPORTFIVE’s Hospitality & Travel team was present at every stage of the 2026 Six Nations Championship. A closer look at one of the season’s standout trips: Edinburgh, from March 7 to 9, 2026.

Months of preparation for a seamless experience

The success of a trip like this is determined long before kickoff, sometimes up to eight months in advance. SPORTFIVE’s Travel team works closely with each client to understand their objectives: relationship-building, networking ambitions, the desired level of hospitality, and logistical constraints. Nothing is standardized. Each company benefits from a fully tailored offering designed around its specific needs.

Based on these insights, the team crafted a comprehensive program: sourcing premium hospitality tickets, selecting accommodations, arranging flights and private transfers, booking restaurants and exclusive dinners, and organizing cultural experiences. The group size, intentionally limited to 100 guests, is no coincidence, it is a deliberate choice to preserve service quality and ensure truly personalized support.

A fully immersive weekend

In Edinburgh, the experience goes far beyond the 80 minutes of play. Guests could choose between two iconic experiences in the Scottish capital: a visit to Edinburgh Castle, the city’s thousand-year-old landmark, or a tasting session at a local distillery, an invitation to discover the art of Scottish whisky. Two different ways to immerse themselves in the country’s culture before enjoying the match in the best possible conditions.

At the heart of the trip was Sylvain Marconnet, former prop and captain of the French national team and a respected figure in international rugby. The former Stade Français Paris player accompanied the group throughout the weekend: delivering a tactical briefing before the match, hosting a post-match debrief right after the final whistle, and sharing dinners with the guests. To add an extra touch of excitement, a prediction contest ran throughout the trip, with the winner taking home an official jersey signed by the former France captain.

This type of presence transforms a sporting trip into a genuine moment of connection: between guests, between companies, and with the sport itself.

A SPORTFIVE team available at every moment

For three days, SPORTFIVE teams were on the ground. Each client had a dedicated contact, available at all times to anticipate any request and ensure a seamless experience. Transportation, accreditations, stadium hospitality, and handling any unforeseen issues, every detail was taken care of, allowing guests to focus on one thing only: enjoying the moment.

This is the essence of SPORTFIVE’s Hospitality & Travel service: transforming a sporting event into a memorable experience with strong relationship-building impact. Offering clients and their guests far more than just a match, an experience to share, a strengthened brand image, and professional connections built in an exceptional setting.
